Common Questions

What People Often Ask

Who are these programs designed for?
Our programs serve a broad audience: working professionals who need to interpret financial documents as part of their roles, business owners reviewing company accounts, and families who want to make more considered decisions about household finances. No prior financial qualification is needed. The programs begin from fundamentals and build progressively.
Do I need a finance background to join?
Not at all. Each program is structured to welcome participants who are entirely new to the subject matter. We introduce terminology carefully and build understanding week by week. Participants with some background often find the structured approach clarifies things they previously absorbed informally.
How are the sessions conducted?
Programs run as instructor-led small group sessions held at our Kuala Lumpur centre, supplemented by guided individual work between sessions. The Behavioral Finance and Family Planning programs include group discussions and reflective exercises. Each week involves roughly 3–4 hours of engagement, including self-paced components.
What is the weekly time commitment?
Each week involves one facilitated group session of approximately 2 hours, plus around 1–2 hours of independent reading or exercises. The Family Financial Planning program includes weekend session options for working participants. We schedule programs so they do not require extended leave from your professional or family commitments.
How do I arrange payment for a program?
Payment is confirmed upon enrollment and can be made via bank transfer or credit card. If your employer sponsors your attendance through HRDC, we coordinate directly with your HR department on the claim process. We are happy to issue formal invoices for corporate enrollments. Please contact us for more details.
Will I receive materials to keep after the program?
Yes. All participants receive program-specific reference sheets, workbooks, and templates in digital format. These are designed as ongoing resources — not just session handouts. For the Family Planning program, participants also keep the household financial dashboard template they build during the course.
